Chief Instructor
Shihan David Weiss- 6th Dan has been involved in martial arts training for over 25 years. Holding a rank of 6th Dan in RR-D, he began his training in Kyokushin Karate under the tutelage of Sensei's Hioki and Lala and has dedicated over 2 decades of study with Kyoshi Guzman at the Honbu Dojo. His dedication to the art of classical Karate-do combined with his training in Judo and Jujitsu has provided him with a holistic approach to martial arts.
Shihan Weiss, one of RR-D's senior ranking black belts, is the chief instructor of the Kanku Dojo which opened in October 2002.

Our leadership teams are made up of dedicated students chosen for their positive attitude and dedication to their training. These select few are given additonal responsibilites in class, including teaching or demonstrating the proper form.
S.T.O.R.M. is comprised of senior ranking under-belt students ranging in age from 13 to 20 years old. Each member has been actively training for over 5 years. They are given responsibilities including running warm-ups, leading drills or working one-on-one with beginner students.

S.W.A.T. is our junior leadership team with ages ranging from 8-12 years old. Each member has trained diligently for a minimum of 2-3 years. This team acts as training role models for our beginner students. Their attitude and intensity during training sessions is meant to inspire the lower ranks.
